Our Beginning
When my dad completed his service in the US Navy, he bought his first house. Of course it was a handyman special, well, he and my brothers spent nearly two months remodeling it. The neighbors saw the work he was doing and asked him to renovate something in their homes. So, this was the beginning of my dad and brothers getting involved in construction. One thing led to another.
Serving country and community
After high school, I joined the US Army, they were great time, friends and memories. The military gave me the discipline and confidence to build my construction company. Shortly, after my service, I began my roofing and remodeling business.
It was the natural route for me because all of my family works in the roofing and construction industry.
As, I look back, it would have been an easier road to have worked for a major contracting firm. However, I may have never experienced the sacrifice and glory of running my own business.
Roofing repairs and replacement installations is a hard and demanding job. Installing a new roof in freezing weather and the blazing summer heat can take a toll on your body. It's not for everyone, only the few. What makes me keep going is I love my work. I get up every morning and it is always a new adventure.
I wouldn't be in this industry for 20 years, if there was no passion and desire. See, I love learning everything about roofs, their designs and their new technology. When, I was 10 years old, my older old brother took me to Barnes & Nobles and my thirst for knowledge grew there. Which is so important because it keeps me up to date with the latest developments in the construction industry. The knowledge I use to provide my local customers quality products and services at an affordable price.
